Server logs

When you visit, your browser transmits technically necessary data (IP address, time, page, browser) which our host stores briefly in log files for secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The submission form

If you share an experience, we process your description of the place and — if you provide them — your name, email and a photo. Publication is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Uploaded photos are re-encoded, which removes embedded metadata such as GPS location. You can withdraw consent and request deletion at any time.

Map (OpenStreetMap)

The directory page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap and the Leaflet library from unpkg.com; your IP address is transmitted to these providers so the map can be displayed (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

We use no tracking cookies. Only the admin login sets a strictly necessary session cookie. No cookie is set for visitors of the public pages.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Austria: the Datenschutzbehörde).
